To be considered for a MuliaSmarak scholarship, high school students are required to submit a 500 word essay on what they intend to study in college, and how it relates to their future career aspirations. Please submit a copy of your essay, along with a phone number and email address, to info@muliasmarak.org for consideration.

ମୂଳିଆ ସାହୁ ସ୍ମାରକ ଛାତ୍ରବୃତ୍ତି
ମୂଳିଆ ସ୍ମାରକ ହେଉଛି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗତ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୂଳିଆ ସାହୁଙ୍କ କନିଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ର ଶ୍ରୀ ଦାମୋଦର ସାହୁଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାଙ୍କ ଗାଁ ବେଲଗୁଣ୍ଠାରେ (Belaguntha Wiki) ସୁବିଧାରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ପିଲା ମାନଙ୍କର ଶିକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ମିତ ଏକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ସାମାଜିକ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱର ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା ।
ଏ ବିଷୟରେ ଅଧିକ ଜାଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଫେସବୁକ ପୃଷ୍ଠା କୁ ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ (facebook page) ବା muliasmarak@gmail.com ଇ-ଡାକ ଠିକଣାରେ ଲେଖନ୍ତୁ।
ସ୍ୱର୍ଗତ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୂଳିଆ ସାହୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ କିଛି -
ସ୍ୱର୍ଗତ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୂଳିଆ ସାହୁ ବେଲଗୁଣ୍ଠା ଗ୍ରାମ, ଗୋପୀନାଥ ସାହି, ଜିଲ୍ଲା-ଗଞ୍ଜାମ, ଓଡ଼ିଶା - ୭୬୧୧୧୯ ରେ ଜଣେ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ ଥିଲେ। ବ୍ୟବସାୟରେ ମାନ୍ଦା ଅବସ୍ଥା ସତ୍ୱେ ସେ ସବୁସମୟରେ ସମାଜରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ସାହାଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ଥିଲେ। ଗାଁରେ ସ୍ନେହରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତେ “ମାମୁଁ” ବୋଲି ଡାକୁଥିଲେ।
ଶ୍ରୀ ଦାମୋଦର ସାହୁ ମୂଳିଆସ୍ମାରକ ବିଷୟରେ କଣ କହନ୍ତି -
ମୋ ପରିବାରର ସବୁଠୁ ସାନ ହେତୁ , ମୁଁ ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କର ସବୁଠୁ ଅଧିକ ସ୍ନେହ ପାଇଥିଲି। ମୋ ପିତାମାତା ଅତି ଶିକ୍ଷିତ ହୋଇନଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଗରେ ପ୍ରେରିତ କରିଥଲେ ଓ ମୋ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାକୁ ସମ୍ପୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସମର୍ଥନ କରିଥିଲେ। ମୋ ଛାତ୍ର ଜୀବନରେ ମୋ ପରିବାର ଆର୍ଥିକ କଷ୍ଟାବସ୍ଥା ସମୟରେ ମୋତେ ଆର୍ଥିକ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିଥିବା ମୋ ଗାଁର ସୁଧୀଜନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କୃତଜ୍ଞତା ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରୁଛି। ମୋ ଗାଁ ବେଲଗୁଣ୍ଠାରେ ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ଅନୁଭବ କରୁଥିବା ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ମୂଳିଆସ୍ମାରକ ମୋର ଏକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ପ୍ରୟାସ।

About Late Shree Mulia Sahu -
Late Shree Mulia Sahu was a small time businessman of Gopinath Street of Bellaguntha, Dist. Ganjam, Odisha - 761119 (Ghumusar Area of Odisha). Though he was not doing well in his business but he was always helpful to others and society. He was often fondly called as "MAMU" - Uncle in his village.
What Damodar Sahu says about MuliaSmarak -
Being the youngest child of my family, I used to get the best attention of my parents. Though my parents are not very well educated, their support on education had inspired me a lot. I am very grateful to my village those who supported me during my student life as my family was not doing well on finance. MuliaSmarak is set-up on a personal level to help the needy students of my village Bellaguntha.
